Benferri: Located in the Vega Baja (low fertile valley) region of the Alicante province is the small village of Benferri.

The village grew around a small tower (the tower of Rocamora) built during the 16th century. Benferri has depended mostly on agriculture for its economic survival helped by irrigation channels constructed during the Arab conquest (eighth to thirteenth centuries).

Worth seeing during a trip to Benferri is the church of San Jeronimo (Benferri's patron saint) built in a late Renaissance style during the 17th century.

Benferri is well known for its fiestas mostly held from August to October each year.

Benferri is situated close to the border with the Murcia region on the CV 870.
