Algorfa -
Algorfa is a small Costa Blanca village located between Rojales and Almoradi in the Vega Baja region of the Alicante province.
Over the centuries it has relied mostly on citrus farming for its survival and its surrounding roads are lined with orange and lemon groves.
Lying on the banks of the Segura river Algorfa is well known for its excellent Sunday market and for its golf course - La Finca Golf Club, one of the finest courses in the area.
Worth a visit whilst in the village are the pretty town square, the unique neo-gothic church on the road to Benejuzar and La Pedrera a natural area with walking and bicycling trails and areas set aside for camping and barbeques.
Algorfa is situated approximately 12 km from the coast on the CV920.
